About Us

Bio: Dr. Irene Rossberg-Gempton has been working as a clinical counselor, community consultant, workshop facilitator and health promoter since 2000 in various communities throughout BC. Irene is currently serving the Vernon community providing counseling sessions, health promotion workshops, and clinical and health promotion consultations.

Training: Irene has a BA First Class Honors in Psychology, Minors in Kinesiology and Learning Disabilities from Simon Fraser University (SFU); a MA in Psychology from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and a PhD in Psychology, Kinesiology, and Dance from SFU.

Before her clinical training, Irene was a professional dancer in BC, USA, and Australia. She brings expressive arts, dance, and play into her work so people can relax, experience their “inner child”, and move towards living in an authentic, honest, healthy way.
